Chapter 6 - Out of World Elements

[And finally a little housekeeping. Because the game is so simple, the help does not go very far.]

Understand "help" or "hint" or "hints" or "about" or "info" as asking for help.

Asking for help is an action out of world.

Carry out asking for help:

say "This story may strike you as familiar, which means that you already have some idea of the ways it can end up.

Most of the interference available to you is in the form of speech: SAY (something) will work to bring up a new topic of conversation. You can also THINK to come up with a few topics related to the current discussion."

[And because it is rude not to thank one's testers:]

Understand "credits" as asking for credits.

Asking for credits is an action out of world.

Carry out asking for credits:

say "Inform 7 is the work of Graham Nelson, and [story title] was compiled using Andrew Hunter's compiler for Mac OS X.

Sam Kabo Ashwell, Dan Shiovitz, and A. Short offered beta-testing feedback."
