Book 2 - The Outdoors

The description of the Outdoors is "A somewhat unpleasant scrap of uncultivated land whose chief virtue is being awkwardly placed. It's not an area that can be seen from the front of the villa, and it might not suggest itself to the searchers. On the other hand, if they don't find you in the Study..."

The haystack is a fixed in place thing in the outdoors. "A heap of grubby hay is piled against one wall." Understand "heap" or "hay" or "grubby" or "heap of grubby hay" as the haystack. The haystack is flammable.

Before hiding a paper under the haystack: say "[The noun] would be ruined by the dirt and wet -- you might as well just tear it up, at that point." instead.

Before hiding a book under the haystack: say "[The noun] would be ruined by the dirt and wet -- you might as well just tear it up, at that point." instead.

Instead of hiding the lamp under the haystack: say "That would be tantamount to igniting the haystack."
